Scripture: Luke 17:5–10
 
When Jesus responds to the disciples’ plea, “Increase our faith!” His answer surprises them—and us. He tells them that even faith as small as a mustard seed can uproot a mulberry tree. It’s not about having more faith but about having real faith that trusts God in the everyday.
Jesus then shifts to a parable about a servant who, after working all day, still prepares his master’s meal. The master doesn’t thank him—he simply expects obedience. This isn’t about harshness; it’s about humility. Jesus teaches that we are servants of God, called to obey not for applause, but because it’s our joyful duty.

Scripture: Luke 16:19–31
 
One of Jesus’ most sobering parables—the story of the rich man and Lazarus. It’s a tale of two lives: one clothed in luxury, the other covered in sores. But after death, their roles are reversed in dramatic fashion.
This parable isn’t just about wealth—it’s about spiritual blindness, compassion, and eternal consequence.
Key themes include:
Earthly comfort vs. eternal reality: The rich man lived in indulgence but ignored the suffering at his gate. Lazarus, though destitute, was known by God and received into Abraham’s side.
Justice beyond the grave: Jesus reveals that eternity brings clarity. The rich man’s regret and Lazarus’s reward show that God sees what the world overlooks.
The urgency of repentance: The rich man begs for a warning to be sent to his brothers, but Abraham replies, “They have Moses and the Prophets.” The time to respond is now.
Are we living with eternal perspective? Are we ignoring the “Lazarus” at our gate? And are we responding to God’s Word while we still have time.

In Luke 14, Jesus turns to the large crowds trailing behind Him—not to flatter them, but to confront them. He lays out four bold truths about discipleship that still echo today.
The Fans and Followers 
Jesus wasn’t impressed by popularity. He wanted commitment. He said that unless we love Him more than family, we cannot be His disciples. That’s not about rejecting loved ones—it’s about putting Christ first.
The Cross of Discipleship
“Carry your cross,” Jesus said. In Roman times, that meant walking toward death. Today, it means dying to self, pride, and control. 
The Cost of Discipleship
Jesus tells us to count the cost—like a builder planning a tower or a king preparing for war. Discipleship isn’t impulsive; it’s intentional. Salvation is free, but following Jesus will cost you everything. Are you ready to climb the Everest of faith?
The Treasure of Discipleship
Jesus ends with this: “Unless you give up all your possessions, you cannot be my disciple.” That’s not just about money—it’s about surrendering everything.
The Challenge: 
Jesus is the Pearl of Great Price. The question isn’t “What will it cost?” but “Is He worth it?” And the answer, every time, is yes.

Embracing Our Calling 
Text: Jeremiah 1:4–10 
In this powerful message, we explore the divine moment when Jeremiah hears God's voice calling him into purpose. Though young and uncertain, Jeremiah is reminded that God's calling isn't based on age, status, or self-confidence—but on divine intention and empowerment. 
Big Ideas 
God Knows You Intimately: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…” — a reminder that our calling is rooted in God's foreknowledge and design. 
Calling Comes with Equipping: Jeremiah's hesitation is met with God's reassurance: “Do not be afraid… I am with you.” When God calls, He also equips. 
Your Voice Matters: God touches Jeremiah’s mouth, symbolizing divine authority and purpose. We too are given words that can build, challenge, and transform. 
Purpose Over Fear: Embracing our calling means stepping beyond fear and into faith, trusting that God’s presence goes before us.

Paul’s message to the Colossians calls believers to live out their new identity in Christ through mutual love, integrity, and justice.
Marriage becomes a sacred space for spiritual growth. Wives are called to gracious partnership, and husbands to sacrificial love—reflecting Christ’s relationship with the Church.
Parenting is framed as a balance of obedience and encouragement. Children honor God through trust and respect, while parents nurture with compassion, not control.
Work relationships are redefined as acts of worship. Employees serve with sincerity, and leaders lead with fairness—knowing all are accountable to a higher Master.
